My Last Day in High School – Write My Last Day in High School Essay
My last day in high school was a very emotional time for me. I had just turned sixteen and was still in many ways a young man. I was also in a bit of an experiment, trying to figure out if I was going to go on to be a doctor or a lawyer. It was quite an emotional experience for me. I’ll give you one thing though: The day I left school was the best day of my life.
Let me tell you what that was about. When I wrote my high school essay, I was actually thinking about my future. I knew that I wanted to be a lawyer like my father, so I thought I should put that thought into my last day in high school essay. I also knew that I wanted to be a doctor like my father, so I put that thought into my writing. After I got through the medical school application process, I knew that I was on my way.
When I was writing my last day in high school essay, I started out by describing my first day on the job. I wrote about how excited I was. Of course, being such a young person, I quickly realized that I shouldn’t have been so excited. My father had died six months before my graduation, so my thoughts were still stuck on death.
Instead of writing about my excitement over getting into college, I decided that I would write about my fear. It was a strange, gutsy move on my part, but I needed to do something to prepare myself for the college application process. Fear can really hold you back from achieving your goals. It was important for me to understand that fear was not only for me. Fear can hold you back in every aspect of your life.
So, what did I do to prepare for my college application essay? Honestly, I did not write any special content. I just repeated what I already had written in my high school yearbook. I also spent a lot of time preparing for my college application essay. You might call it preparation for a college application, but I would call it personal preparation.
I worked on my college application for about a month after I graduated. I wrote the essay every single day and used it as a guide to create my future path in life. While I can’t guarantee that you will write a stellar last day in high school essay, you can guarantee that you will write a compelling one if you spend time preparing. Preparing is the key to success with your college application.
The next time you get up to write your college application, spend some time preparing. Know what is on your transcript, know what you are eligible for, and know what you want out of your college experience. Then, put in the time to write that application well. Make it good.
I can tell you that you will have more opportunities in college if you are prepared. Whether you want an AA degree or a four year degree, you will have a better chance of getting in the right school with the right credentials if you start working towards them now. Start studying now.
You must also spend the last day of high school working hard. That means you should not just relax on the night before you submit your essay. Rather, you should spend the night researching what it is you should be writing on your admission essay. Look at your transcript, look at your application, and look at colleges around you. Write down all the requirements and similarities between each one.
This applies whether you are applying to a state university or a college within the city you live in. There are many commonalities. In fact, most admissions officers have the same set of criteria. It is important that you understand those commonalities and meet them head on.
Your last day in high school should be a fun, productive day. Use this time to write and rewrite your essay. Get your ideas out on paper so that you can review them when you review them. If you get stuck, ask someone for help. Either seek out help from a student counselor, or encourage yourself to find someone to read your essay and give you feedback.
