Importance of Trust
Trust is the ability of a person to have confidence in you that you are going to fulfil a promise you made, basing his or her argument on previous events. The form of trust we are going to look at this paper is that exist between the organization leadership and the employees. Earning trust from stakeholders may take ages but breaking that trust is a matter of a few minutes. Therefore, building and maintaining trust is key to any business.
Trust is a key factor in the work place. The growth of an organization entirely depends on the level of trust between the employer and the employees. Lack of confidence between the two players comes along with numerous challenges such as toxic, and hostile working conditions which lowers the productivity of the workers (Woolsey, 2016). Lack of trust is brought about by neglecting Christ’s standards on our interaction here on earth. Therefore, in case we have mistrust an organization the management should ensure the condition is repaired as soon as possible to prevent the collapse of the firm.
Trust among human being has a close connection to trusting God. Going per the famous quote from the Bible[1]. We find that if we need success in our ways we need to submit all our plans to Him and our plans will be established. Believing in God make life worth living for. It will always give you a reason to champion for change in your life and in any organization you head. Acknowledging that the plans he has for you are good and He is going to help you achieve your desires gives one confidence to share his or her plans of change in an organization (Dr. Robert, 2009). The Holy bible from the book of acts testifies this in thin the occasion where Peter spoke boldly to the magnitude after being filled with the Holy Spirit in the day of Pentecost.
A world without trust is doomed to fail. There will be minimum or no progress in such conditions. For example when an employer has no trust on the employee, will make sure that he is always present for a smooth running of activities in the industry (Trupper , Gene, & Cynthia, 2011). He cannot delegate crucial tasks to anyone due to fear that the employee will fail when he or she is working under no supervision. As a result of this events the boss will get overworked leading to fatigue and low output in the long run.
Trusting employees are more involved in the companies’ transactions. This involvement helps them to share ideas on change. By doing so the involved persons select the best suggestion to actualize the organizational goals. The opportunity to share and work together creates a conducive working environment which enhance efficiency at the work place. Such organizations have higher chances of sustainability compared to those which all then decisions come from the management body.
A well-built trust will motivate all the players involved in a company. Motivated persons always tend to work together, in a company situation all the departments will work together with one aim (Woolsey, 2016). This collaboration improves the loyalty of the employees to the company. A loyal worker will always work hard for the betterment of the organization.
Trustworthy people are the best to work with. Introducing change in a firm require dedicated persons to bring the new trend to reality. A leader how trusts on his subjects and vice versa are the key ingredients of change in any enterprise. In the society we live in the trust on God is also key to our prosperity. A God fearing person will treat his subjects with respect thus creating a sense of belonging, confidence at work.
